North Queensland Severe Weather | March 26th 2018
Far North Queensland is again being hit with severe weather as ex-cyclone Nora wreaks havoc. This downpour and wild weather has prompted several road closures including the Bruce Highway in three major locations between Townsville, Ingham, Tully and Cairns. The inland routes are also closed as the risk of landslides in these wet conditions rise.
These major road closures will affect freight between Townsville and Cairns, including the Ingham, Tully, Innisfail and Atherton regions. Our drivers are on the roads and our Townsville branch is open but delays may be unavoidable.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time and please be assured our team are focused on delivering the best possible service as the circumstances allow.
