It's that time of year again: Easter 2017
Yes, it’s almost upon us! It’s that time of year when our team are away for the Easter holidays and we hope you will be doing the same – surrounded by friends and loved ones.
When is the holiday period?
The Easter period commences with Good Friday on April 14th 2017 and concludes Easter Monday on April 17th 2017. We will resume regular operations from Tuesday April 18th 2017.
Exactly a week later on ANZAC day, Tuesday 25th April, we will stop and remember all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died on operational service. This will mean consecutive short weeks where our team will be working hard to minimise the impact on our operations.
What can I expect during this time?
Air & Ocean
Vessels will still be arriving and worked on 24/7 without disruption. However, drivers will only have limited access to pick up and return containers, creating some delays. We suggest that you pay extra attention to your dates to avoid any additional detention charges.
This may create a backlog of consignments. Our team will be back in full force on Tuesday 18th April to minimise any disruptions.
Please advise us
Please advise us if you are closing outside the public holidays or have reduced hours so we can plan deliveries. Any assistance you can give us is appreciated to ensure we deliver the best service and avoid any storage charges.
We appreciate your patience during this time and please be assured that our teams around the world remain focused on delivering the best possible service. If you have any questions please contact your local Mainfreight team.
